Twisted Storytellers bring Stories of Romance with Comedian Michael Colyar 

Friday, December 15th

DETROIT, MI –– The Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers will bring Actor/Comedian Michael Colyar to tell true and personal stories of love and romance. The award-winning, monthly event has received outstanding reviews and has been recognized for its artistic and cultural contribution to Detroit,

"Storytelling is a way for people to learn more about themselves and each other," says Juanita Moore, president of the Charles H. Wright Museum, which hosts the events. "People coming to these shows experience a feeling of life, growth and excitement through connecting, and that deserves a place to be showcased." 

"I ain't seen nothing like it," said the late Dick Gregory. "Stay in touch with the storytellers. It can heal." 

The Society's next event "Romance" will take place Friday, December 15, 8PM at The Wright Museum. Comedian Michael Colyar, Comedian Karen Addison and Moth Storyteller/Host Dameon Wilburn will tell true, personal stories on the theme. Also appearing Musical Guest Nikki Thomas and Dance Guests Legacy Dance Studio featuring Brooke Taylor.
