Experience the opening of the 50th Anniversary Michigan Youth Arts Festival, featuring the Inspiration Awards, ArtServe Michigan Arts Legacy Award, student performances, and the world premiere of Strung with Glory, a multi-disciplinary performance piece, composed by Mischa Zupko for the Festival's 50th anniversary.
Michigan Youth Arts is a statewide association that serves as an alliance of arts education organizations across artistic disciplines: creative writing, dance, instrumental music, media arts, music composition, theatre, visual arts, and vocal music. The strength of our combined efforts enables us to produce excellent educational opportunities for students, and to advocate for best practices in, and equal access to, arts education throughout Michigan.
ArtServe Michigan is the statewide nonprofit organization leading advocacy for the arts, culture, arts education and the transformative power of the creative industries in Michigan. In its programs and services, ArtServe leads public policy campaigns and grassroots organizing; provides leadership and professional development for artists, creative practitioners, and arts and cultural organizations; and connects arts and cultural leaders and supporters through strategic communications.
