  A Note From The Director

Thank you to all of the Auburn Hills Public Library patrons who have enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards Program.  Kroger requires all participants to re-enroll each April in order to continue earning for the Auburn Hills Public Library.  This program earns up to $200 each quarter for contributions that help fund library programs and purchasing materials, so we would like to encourage everyone to take a moment to re-enroll their card online. This is also an excellent time for first-time participants to sign up, so even if you shop at Kroger infrequently, please take a moment to register your card and begin earning.  To enroll or re-enroll in Kroger Community Rewards, have your Kroger shopper card handy. Visit

www.krogercommunityrewards.com, click on "Michigan", then click on "Enroll" to register for the first time, or "Re-enroll" to re-register.  Auburn Hills Public Library's NPO is #87290.  All participants must also have a valid online account at www.kroger.com, and must sign up online to participate.

As always, thank you for your contributions to the Auburn Hills Public Library.  Best wishes for a Happy Mother's Day, and many thanks to all who serve in our armed forces.

Regards,

Stephanie McCoy, Director

CAN YOU HELP?
Throughout the year, the Youth Department does many craft programs.  There are some items we use all of the time.  If you could help us by donating any of the following items, it would be greatly appreciated!

Boxes from bar soap (or similar boxes)

Wooden craft sticks

Wooden ice cream spoons

Colored tissue paper

White paper plates

Wiggly eyes (not the tiny ones)

Glue sticks

Tacky glue

Sheets of art foam

During our Summer Reading Program, we give prizes from our treasure chest to children in the preschool program. We accept donations of small toys (like Happy Meal Prizes) all year long.  It's a great form of recycling!

In addition, we can use anything you consider to be a "white elephant."  Prizes are given during the summer to everyone from children through adults.  Gift cards are always appreciated.
